Children's Day for needy children

Hungarian Baptist Aid hosted needy children from flood-beaten counties. Fifty children from four schools of Sátoraljaújhely visited Sandor Palace, meanwhile Peter Buday masterchef cooked for them in a spectacle kitchen of a shopping mall with eight volunteers.

Aid for the weather-beaten areas

Hungarian Baptist Aid and ADRA (Adventist Aid) provide food, drinking-water and disinfectants to the evacuee needy people in Sátoraljaújhely today.

Help in storm-beaten Hungary

Hungarian Baptist Aid Rescue24 team spent last day and night with relieving damages of storm-beaten Transdanubium.

Hungarian ambulance cars started working in Afghanistan

Pol-e-Khumri - On the 11th of April three ambulance cars were granted to afghani people in the presence of the gorvernor of Baghlan province and the local media. On the official donation ceremony the governor gave thanks to the Hungarians for their help and cooperation.

MDG programme has been finished

In February 2010 a two-year-long European Union project has been finished by Hungarian Baptist Aid. Baptist Aid was represented by Luca Rédey in Krakow on that final meeting where Polish, Greek, Cypress and Czech partner organisations evaluated the activities. Ont he meeting they summed up and analysed the problems and difficulties.

Vietnamese experts came to Hungary

Fifteen Vietnamese experst came to visit Hungary within the confines of FLAME programme. These people, who help in development of disabled children will visit International Pető Institute and the Parliament as well.

New throwing-wheel inour homeless shelter

Our potter yard enriched with a new throwing-wheel. Thanks to this equipment the pottery works can reach a higher level. In the yard, with guidance of László Koloszár, those people can work, who live in our homeless shelter.

Haitian survivor visits Hungary

Alice Barthole, leader of House of Hope Orphanage of Haiti visited Hungary. She thanked the help of Hungarian people and all the help they had after horrific earthquake in Haiti. „So much people helped us that I cannot count: the USA, Canada, Switzerland, Austria, and so little countries like Hungary. All of them conforted us, cry and mourn with us.

Letter to Hungarian Baptist Aid

Dear Hungarian Baptist Aid,
My 17-year-old daughter get pneumonia before Christmas and get to hospital. Unfortunately she had to stay in hospital during Christmas. I visited her as often as I could. On Boxing Day I found a shoebox next to her bed. „What is it?” – I asked.
