The international team of HBAid is holding a one-week educational camp for Italian, Swedish and Hungarian young people.

Hungarian Baptist Aid team visited Bakou orphanage, where those children live who is supported by „Adopt a child” program.

„Sensitising young people about the issue of trafficking in human beings” project has been started in Cambodia last week with shooting a film on trafficking in human beings.

Partner organisations of EU project called „Sensitising young people about the issue of trafficking in human beings” met in Budapest this week. This EU-supported project will be realised by Hungarian Baptist Aid on the part of Hungary, and also Italian, German, and Swedish NGOs in two years. The aim of the project is to sensitise of 14-19-year-old young people about the issue of trafficking in human beings, its background, reasons and effects.

In February 2010 a two-year-long European Union project has been finished by Hungarian Baptist Aid. Baptist Aid was represented by Luca Rédey in Krakow on that final meeting where Polish, Greek, Cypress and Czech partner organisations evaluated the activities. Ont he meeting they summed up and analysed the problems and difficulties.

In the last round of a EuropeAid program (Capacity building of NGOs in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic for mobilizing support for MDGs), the colleagues of HBAID made several presentations in secondary and in high schools regarding the MDGs. From the countryside schools in Velence, Székesfehérvár and Ócsa were involved and we also had 5 schools in Budapest where presentations occurred.

International team of Hungarian Baptist Aid made presentation on MDGs to more than 200 children and young people in elemantary and high schools in October. The topic was the MDGs, so the Millannium Development Goals and also the migration.

Italian partner organisation of Hungarian Baptist Aid, GVC (Gruppo Volontario Civile) organised its third filmfestival called „Terra di Tutti” (Everyone’s World) between 8 and 11 October.
On the film festival, the animation film about migration, supported by EuropeAid was also presented. There were filmmakers from more than 10 countries on the film festival, as Italy, Spain, Checz Republic, Japan, Senegal, Palestine, etc.

Saturday morning there will be a program on the Hungarian Baptist Aid in the Radio MR1-Kossuth.
