Submitted by Komm on Tue, 2010-06-22 12:00.
On the 15th of June a new institute of Hungarian Baptist Aid has been opened in Győr. Psychiatric day care is a social supply, which can ease the parents’ situation and gives the patients a chance to build social relationships. The day care is open every day from 9 to 17 to the 15 patients and offers craft lessons or a talk to the psychologist. The builing, which was given by the local government, has been opened by vicar mayor Ottófi Rudolf, PhD, Szilágyi Tivadar, PhD, and Sándor Szenczy, president of Hungarian Baptist Aid. “The youngest patient of the institution is 18, while the oldest is 60. The institute can supply more patients as well.” – said Zsuzsanna Jankovics, one of the experts of the institute. “The leadership of the town supports us, while the neighbours here were not so open and friendly, but fortunately this situation now is better. We are planning a meeting for them, where they can come and see what are we doing here, and can ask questions from us” – added Zsuzsanna. |
