Pakistan – It is our business

I have witnessed sea of suffering under the leaden sky of Pakistan. The floods washed away thousands of villages and towns. Roads, bridges and homes were destroyed in every part of the country. From the air saw the growing flood flushing the soul of Pakistan’s economy- more thousand acres of excellent arable land.

Visiting the Cambodian orphanage

Hungarian Baptist Aid team visited Bakou orphanage, where those children live who is supported by „Adopt a child” program.

A film on trafficking in human beings

„Sensitising young people about the issue of trafficking in human beings” project has been started in Cambodia last week with shooting a film on trafficking in human beings.

Filmfestival in Bologna

Italian partner organisation of Hungarian Baptist Aid, GVC (Gruppo Volontario Civile) organised its third filmfestival called „Terra di Tutti” (Everyone’s World) between 8 and 11 October.
On the film festival, the animation film about migration, supported by EuropeAid was also presented. There were filmmakers from more than 10 countries on the film festival, as Italy, Spain, Checz Republic, Japan, Senegal, Palestine, etc.

Radio program on the Hungarian Baptist Aid

Saturday morning there will be a program on the Hungarian Baptist Aid in the Radio MR1-Kossuth.

The Hungarian Baptist Aid was present on the Music Days Festival in Székesfehérvár

The Hungarian Baptist Aid (HBAid) participated as an exhibitor on the Music Days of Fehérvár (FEZEN), which were held from 10th until 12th of September 2009 in Székesfehérvár. This three-days musical festival were visited by thousands of people.

About the migrants in Prague

The EU-supported migrants project of Hungarian Baptist Aid is at a new phase. This week we met our Italian and Czech partners in Prague to summarize our experiences on working for refugees and to harmonize the tasks of the future.

For accepting migrants in Bologna

In the course of a program, which is one of our international team's successful EuropAid tenders, we participated in a meeting in Bologna together with our Czech (CCR) and Italian (GVC) partners. Our Migration project, which is about integration problems of migrants, lasts for 2 years and during this time we organize several programs together with our partners.

Migration Project Second station: Prague, Czech Republic

The series of animation workshops arrived to its second host-country the Czech Republic on the 18th of August, the camp lasted till the 31st of the month (first station was Inárcs, Hungary 13–28 July). These two weeks meant both work and pleasure for the children taking part in the programme.
